LEAGUE champions Chester Boughton Hall clinched the second leg of a possible Cheshire women's cricket treble with a superb performance in the Lovelane Knockout Cup Final against Poynton Fire.
Hall won by 58 runs as Lauren Griffiths and Ali Cutler both made 20 retired.

Useful contributions from Vicky Latham and Lorna Thomas took the Deemons past three figures to score 101-3.

In reply, the early pressure of Suzi Walker and Nicky Capes resulted in Poynton losing two of their top three to run outs. Kitzinger's 19 was the only Poynton double figure score, after which Poynton subsided to 43-9.

The second innings was all about Thomas (2-2 in four overs) and Annette Axon (2-3 in four overs), with further wickets falling to Katie Coppack
and Nicky Deane in the closing overs.
