Saints/Stars B moved above Chester Rugby and to the top of Division One with a hard fought 3-2 home victory over their title rivals.
Chester started the better and gained a two rubber advantage, Nick Sutherland beating Jordan Davies and Rachel Chadwick overpowering Sion Jones 3-0.

But Saints hit back as Alex Pendleton beat Steve Mackenzie 3-1, and Elliot Brookes-Parry restored
parity as he saw off Jonathan Firth.

Ellie Evans then beat Andy McGilvary 3-0 to complete a remarkable comeback.

Wrexham Brymbo kept up the heat on Saints with a 3-2 away win against lowly Deeside with Tom Clark again giving the away side a solid platform, beating Nigel Thomas 3-2 in the first rubber.

Darren Lee and John Evans then secured success with 3-0 wins over Anthony Roberts and Scott Roberts.

Simon Dutton pulled a rubber back with a 3-0 win against John Williams and Julian Neild won the fifth rubber, powering past Hannah Davies 3-1.

Le Sport inflicted hosts Beaufort Park's tenth consecutive defeat, coming away with an excellent 4-1 success.

In Division Two, Chester Rugby Juniors recorded their eighth win of the season a 4-1 win at Buckley .

Nick Parks started with 3-2 victory over Graham Pargeter, and Carlos Riveiro made it two with a 3-0 success against Marshall Clayton.

Andy Bunning secured the points with a 3-0 triumph over Dave Thomas, before Carl Lace added gloss to the scoreline, seeing off Ian Humphries 3-1.

Pete Morris (3-0) gave the result a touch of respectability with a fifth rubber win over Nick Bertram.

Bottom of the table Holywell failed to take advantage of Buckley's defeat, and were beaten 4-1 at home to St Asaph.

Jason Shill defeated Matty Kerry 3-2 to put the hosts one up, but delight soon turned to despair, Roy Marrett losing to Mark Evans 3-0, Dai Williams beaten 3-1 by Emyr Jones, and Gareth Jones falling 3-0 to Adrian Drake.

Having already lost the match, Holywell handed Russ Morris a walkover to complete the rout.

Kent Supplies maintained pole position with a 5-0 triumph over Deeside Seconds.

Rick Popplewell began with a 3-0 win against Dean Hughes, and Tony Puplett then beat Dave Thomas 3-1. Darren Hewitt secured the win, 3-1 against Graeme Jones. The away side's misery was complete when Al Hol (3-1) and Paul Davies (3-0) beat Andy Jones and Meirion Evans respectively.

Kent Supplies Seconds made it ten consecutive Division Three victories as they came away from Wrexham Brymbo Juniors with a 3-2 success.

Geoff Roberts gave them a good start with a 3-1 victory over Richard Arkland, before Paul Murphy drew the home side level with a 3-0 win against Janet Colman.

Kent's Dave Mitchell then crashed 3-1 in the third rubber to leave the away side staring at a surprise defeat.

But the league leaders were not to be denied, Rachel Cooper powering past Llinos Evans 3-0 and Geoff Gaunt brushing past Perry Shoemark 3-0.

Beaufort Park seconds were in rampant form as they thumped hosts Midtown 4-1.

Paul Silvester and Alan Lucy gave Park the perfect start with 3-0 wins over Phil McCarthy and Tom Trueman respectively, but John Turner was made to work hard before overcoming Paul Wallace 3-2 to make sure of the points for the away side.

Martin Burgess picked up the fourth rubber with a 3-1 win over Warren Bates, before Rhys Parry grabbed a consolation with a 3-1 win against Lynsey Silvester.

County Officers added to Saints/Stars Juniors misery with a 5-0 home thumping of the young side.

The game started very competitively, Simon Jackson just winning the first rubber 3-2 and Dave Brugess completing a second rubber 3-1 victory.

The next three rubbers were very straightforward for the home side, Paul Wilkinson, Phil Graham and Cliff Phillips all winning 3-0.

Wrexham squash starlet Hannah Davies has been ranked a best-yet number sixteen in Europe in the new Under-17 girls latest ratings.

Davies, who plays for Wrexham Brymbo in the North Wales League, is a member of the flourishing Stars Academy.

Academy stable-mate Tesni Evans has been named number four in the European list following her stunning Belgian Junior Open victory last month.

Stars Academy Director Andrew Evans said: "These are astonishing achievements from players from such a small area of North East Wales on the European stage and we are absolutely delighted for them."
