GHANZAFAR ALI steered Deeside Ramblers to a 6-1 victory at Wakefield.
He grabbed four goals for Ramblers including three from penalty corners as his team maintained their high standards.

Ibrar Latif and Ben Lamont scored the other Deeside goals.

Northop Hall Thirds had to come from behind to beat a resilient Runcorn Seconds 3-2 and maintain their unbeaten run.

Hall opened the scoring through the leagu's leading goalscorer, Jac Lloyd-Jones, who finished with a first-time shot into the bottom corner after being picked out by Stewart Tasker.

Richard Young picking out Aled Affleck at the back post for the second and Young clinched a Hall victory shortly afterwards, smashing an unstoppable strike through the keeper's legs.

Hall Fourths' clash with mid-table Deeside Ramblers sixths ended with Northop falling to a 5-1 defeat, James Challenor hitting the consolation goal.

Injury failed to help Hall, who lost skipper Ian Taylor, goalkeeper Bret Hanekom, and right-back Bryn Price all before the second half.

Northop Hall first team's home match with Wrexham was postponed due to a frozen pitch, while the second team's trip to Runcorn was called off due to the weather.

Chester celebrated a 5-0 at Bolton, with Sean Blaine, Matty Hyden (2), John Roper, and Stevie Hall all finding the target.

Chester, who led 3-0 at half time against Bolton, face a top of the table clash with Sheffield this weekend.

Chester Seconds drew 3-3 against Wigan firsts, with Thomas, Shaw, and Spencer all finding the mark.

Carl Lee scored for Chester Fifths who named Jon Feeney as their man of the match in a 7-1 defeat against Macclesfield thirds.

Chester Sixths suffered a 6-0 defeat against Llandudno seconds after trailing 4-0 at the break.

Chester suffered a 3-2 defeat against Oulton and West Warwick in the Men's Vintage Cup.

McComb and Ible scored for Chester who will now compete in the Plate competition.

Deeside Ramblers seconds claimed a 6-5 win against Timperley.

Hedley Pollard opened Deeside's account before Dell Millard-Smith and Jonnie Roger combined for a second goal.

Jack Hardman made it 3-0 from a penalty corner and Graham Dick secured a 4-0 advantage before Millard-Smith made it 5-1 at the break.

Max Ankers' deflected effort completed Ramblers' goal tally.
