AIRBUS UK boss Craig Harrison has strengthened his squad for the new season by adding former Gap Connah's Quay striker Wes Kilgannon.
The 26 year old made 12 starts for The Nomads after joining from West Cheshire side Christleton.

Former Wolves, Fulham and Crystal Palace defender Jamie Smith is set to join up with the Wingmakers as he works towards his coaching badges following his retirement from professional football last year.

Airbus UK head to Buckley Town tomorrow (kick-off 2pm).

Airbus conceded four goals for the second time in their pre-season campaign after drawing 4-4 with Guilsfield on Tuesday night.

Having raced into a 4-1 lead with five minutes of the first half remaining thanks to a hat-trick from Paul Hallows and a Mark Cadwallader strike, Airbus were cruising.

Airbus manager Harrison admitted that individual mistakes cost his side dearly after playing some superb football.

"We could have been eight or nine goals in front," said Harrison. "The first half was the best we have played and it looked as though the lads were gelling as a team.

"After we conceded the first goal you could see that there was not enough positive reactions amongst the players. It is frustrating because there is enough experience to deal with one goal."

Hat-tricks from Mark Stewart and Kevin Holsgrove helped NEWI Cefn Druids ease to a comfortable 8-3 victory over Welsh Alliance side Holywell Town.

Adam Lovett and Joe Lewis completed the scoring while full-back Rob Dean and forward Stewart have both agreed terms with The Ancients ahead of tonight's pre-season fixture with Prescot Cables, (7.30pm).

Gap Connah's Quay crashed to a 4-2 home defeat against Winsford on Tuesday night at the Deeside stadium.

Despite taking a two goal lead through new signing Liam Loughlin and Tom Baker, The Nomads were rocked by four strikers without reply from the travelling side including three in the second half.

With the result meaningless at the moment, manager Steve O'Shaughnessy gave a run out to the majority of his squad including an un-named trialist and the hosts played some neat passing football in the first period.

The Nomads welcome Afan Lido to the Deeside Stadium on Sunday aiming to bounce back from the defeat against Winsford, (1.30pm).

Another excellent work out for Mynydd Isa gave them an impressive 2-2 draw with Rhyl Reserves

Craig Goodwin scored both for Isa.

Hawarden Rangers saw off Cymru Alliance visitors Mold Alex in a lacklustre pre-season encounter on Tuesday evening.

Steve Owen, Mike Adamson and a Brett Jones own goal gave Rangers the victory with Dave Gleave and Owain Roberts on target for Alex.

Mold now visit Welsh Alliance side Holywell Town, (3pm).

Flint Town United, who entertain Vauxhall Motors tomorrow (2.30pm), crashed to Cammell Laird 3-2, Rhos Aelwyd beat Lex 5-2 while in tomorrow's action Gresford head to Glan Conwy.
