Motors opened the scoring on six minutes when James Holden's shot fell at the feet of Pat McFadden who finished with ease from eight yards out.
Holden was again involved in the second goal on 28 minutes. His ball found Rio Nelson on the left who c
ut inside and shot from 18 yards, giving the home keeper no chance.
Vauxhall continued to dominate and on 62 minutes substitute Mattie Burke scored with his first touch of the game with a neat finish following good work by Thomas Rooney.
On 75 minutes, Thomas Carroll was blatantly fouled in the area and Anthony Wright made it 4-0 from the penalty spot.
And Wright finished off matters in the last minute with a quickly taken free kick from the edge of the area.
Meanwhile, Motors goalkeeper Lloyd Rigby is reportedly on the verge of signing for League One outfit Stockport County, although the deal is yet to be finalised.
Rigby only signed for the Motormen towards the end of last season from Rochdale after a successful loan spell earlier in the season.
Manager Carl McCauley is on the verge of signing an unnamed striker as he continues to finalise his squad before the big kick off in the Blue Square North on Saturday.
Vauxhall's first game of the season is away to Harrogate Town on Saturday, 9th August (3pm).
The first home game for the Motormen at the newly named Motassist Arena is Tuesday, 12th August, against Stafford Rangers (7.45pm).
