FOOTBALL - Millermen double up
CHESTER SUNDAY LEAGUE - DEE MILLER have clinched a memorable Chester Sunday League and Cup double.
The Section A side claimed the league title and completed the double with a 3-2 Chester District Cup Final win against Castrol Swan.
In a close and entertaining game, in which the outcome was in doubt until the final whistle, Simon Andrews fired home the goals.
In Section C, MBNA, who also achieved a double success story, defeated Bromfield Arms, allowing Boughton Hall to take the runners-up spot.
Matty Owen scored twice alongside Andy Cross and an own goal in in MBNA's 4-3 win.
Tattenhall recorded their fifth win of the season in Section C with a 2-1 result against re-election candidates Ring O'Bells.
