TATTENHALL are keen to maintain their good form tomorrow at home to Hale Barns.
Club skipper Rob Mulvihill has steered Tattenhall to a 13-point lead at the top of Division Two

They made short work of Winnington Park last weekend with an eight wickets victory after dismissing their hosts for 95.

Trinidad paceman Damien Lewis added figures of 7-37 to the 9-52 with which he opened the season, and John Hope's unbeaten 60 then helped Tattenhall win comfortably.

Mulvihill said: "I was very pleased with our performance against Winnington Park.

"Damien Lewis was excellent and John Hope did so well to score an unbeaten 60 which helped us amass a good total.

"I'm hoping we can improve even more when the weather gets better, but there is certainly no complacency as we are only four games into the season.

"I'm looking for consistency after the good start we've experienced, but I know we can't possibly relax because at this same stage last season Winnington Park led the table."

Mulvihill is aiming to name a full strength side against Hale Barns, with Rhys Jowett back in the team, and Graham Harper hoping to strengthen the batting order.

Tattenhall have been awarded a walkover in the National Village Knockout competition against third round opponents High Legh St Johns.

CHESTER COUNTY OFFICERS make three changes for their league match at home to Alderley Park.

Steve Holland, Neil Smith, and Mike Roberts will replace the trio of all-rounders, Ian Barlow, Ian Rule, and Mike Clarke, against an Alderley Edge team that suffered a surprise defeat last weekend.

Officers are at home to Bollington on Sunday in the Cheshire Cup second round, when both Rule and Barlow are expected to return.

SAUGHALL name an unchanged line-up for their Cheshire Alliance League match at Trinity.

Saughall are hoping to see a big improvement in their batting after throwing away their wickets cheaply last weekend.

Depak Jenna will lead the bowling attack of Mike Andrews, James Huxley, and Les Perkins.

ALVANLEY face a back-to-back weekend programme.

They entertain Brooklands in the Cheshire League Division One tomorrow, and then play host to Pott Shrigley on Sunday in the National Village Knockout Competition third round.

BARROW entertain Lymm Oughtrington Park in their Cheshire League Division Two match.

Barrow will be aiming to see Brett Balac and Marlon Barclay continuing their good form on the back of impressive performances at Wilmslow.

Balac took four wickets and Barclay made an unbeaten 50 in the contest.

* The draw for the second round of the Fred Graham Twenty/20 Trophy – all games to be played by June 1 – is Bollington v Alderley Edge; Irby v Neston; Bredbury St. Marks v Macclesfield; Upton v Chester Boughton Hall; Mobberley v Poynton; Christleton v Oxton; Burnage v Timperley; Oulton Park v Nantwich; Hale Barns v Sale; Tattenhall v Warrington; Marple v Didsbury; Grappenhall v Widnes; Cheadle v Hyde; Urmston v Toft; Bramhall v Heaton Mersey; Middlewich v Bowdon.

This season's Finals Day is at Timperley on Sunday, August 10.
