TATTENHALL moved 13 points clear at the top of the Cheshire County League second division table.
Skipper Rob Mulvihill steered his side to their third win of the season by making short work of Winnington Park who drop to the foot of the table.

Tattenhall enjoyed an eight wickets victory after dismissing their hosts for 95.

Trinidad paceman
Damien Lewis added figures of 7-37 to the 9-52 with which he opened the season. John Hope's unbeaten 60 then helped Tattenhall win comfortably.

A return from university by Tom Green saw Tattenhall seconds win by 61 runs against Winnington Park.

Roy Sandford made 51. Skipper Ray Hunt made 44 before declaring on 228-9 after 47 overs.

Tattenhall got early wickets and eventually restricted Winnington Park on 167 all out.

ALVANLEY extended their unbeaten run to five games, but will reflect on a draw at Trafford as points lost rather than gained.

James Wheelahan (6 for 60) and Pete Pearce (3 for 65) restricted Trafford to 173 for 9.

Andy Bennion (39) and Ben Pearce took the score to 60, but the draw won the day as wickets fell and the pressure grew and Alvanley closed 124 for 8.

Andy Senior (97), Nick Geddis (44), and Ste Charles (21) moved Alvanley seconds to 217 for 9 declared off 42 overs before skittling Alderley Park out for 149, with Geddis (3-25) and Mark Leadbetter (2-21).

SAUGHALL suffered defeat at home to Haslington after a poor batting display.

Saughall were reeling at 36 for 4, and they eventually produced a poor total of 105.

Hopes of an unlikely victory were quashed with an impressive 45-run opening stand as Haslington reached 46 for 2.

The visitors gave Saughall a lesson in batting as they reached 107-4 to pick up 20 points.

CHESTER COUNTY OFFICERS crashed to an eight-wicket defeat at Lymm.

Officers were victims of a dramatic collapse as the score went from 32-0 to 37-6, and then 80 all out.

Lymm strolled to their easy target for the loss of only two wickets.

Officers seconds picked up another 25 points with victory over Castrol.

Officers posted 126 with Declan Hickey top scoring with 60 and taking five wickets alongside Calum Price who returned figures of 7 overs 6 maidens 1 run 0 wickets to reduce Castrol to 86 all out.

BARROW scored a victory against Wilmslow.

Wilmslow were reduced to 53 for 4. The combination of Brett Balac and the variation of off spinner Marlon Barclay, saw Wilmslow dismissed for 95, with Balac taking four wickets.

Barrow openers Nick Bell (39 not out) and Barclay (50 not out) steered their side to success on 97-0.
