A Cheshire petrol station worker was threatened with a screwdriver by three masked robbers.
The gang, all wearing white masks, entered the BP garage on Whitchurch Road, Rowton, at about 10.50pm on Sunday.

The employee also had his arm forced behind his back, causing him slight injury.

Cheshire Constabulary spokesman Rachel Hayes said
of the gang: "They made a search of the shop before leaving with a quantity of cash.

"The men are believed to have got into a dark coloured vehicle before driving off in the direction of Whitchurch."

One of the men is described as having been wearing a black coat with a hood pulled up, black shoes and dark trousers.

The second man was also wearing a black coat with his hood pulled up, grey trousers and was carrying a red carrier bag.

The third offender was wearing a black jumper and grey trousers.

His mask covered the whole of his face.

Miss Hayes added that all three robbers were wearing gloves.

It was not possible to specify their ethnicity because of their masks, she added.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact DC Pete Jones or DC Clare Fletcher at Cheshire Constabulary on 01244 613140.

Information can also be left in confidence on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
