Communion service rounds off Chester church celebrations

CELEBRATIONS of 50-years of worship at the Hoole United Reformed Church in Chester have drawn to a close.
As part of the weekend's activities, church members and their guests sat down to a celebratory dinner with special guests the Rev Dr Stephen Orchard, Moderator of the United Reformed Church's General Assembly and his wife Linda.
The following day a Service of Thanksgiving was held when the Moderator delivered an address to a packed church.
The weekend was rounded off with a special evening Communion service.
