A MAN'S body was found yesterday in an underground car park in Chester city centre.
Police were called to Heritage Court, off Lower Bridge Street, at about 7.55am after a member of the public made the grim discovery.

The man was believed to have been homeless.

Cheshire police spokesman Rachel Hayes said there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances, and that the man had still to be formally identified.

The area was cordoned off until about midday when the body was removed and an investigation is now under way.
